On the outside, the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander is not going to look that much different from the previous models, apart from a new two-louver grille complete with the well-known logo.
Both the grille and its headlights are going to be redesigned to make it more impressive and sporty. Overall, we are looking at a lot of chrome on the outside, emphasized by the standard LED fog lights. The overall body line was already aerodynamic to begin with, so do not expect much change in this regard. If you add a bunch of chrome details around the sides and more aluminum for the body itself, there should be a pretty accurate image of what the new Outlander might look like in two years.

On the inside, there shouldn’t be that many surprises, apart from the new upholstery for the seats, of course. The steering wheel may be tweaked a bit, but it is not like it will be reinvented or anything. Still, the safety features as well as the infotainment system are due for an update A blind spot monitor would be nice, pedestrian detection and advanced connectivity options would also be appreciated.

As far as the engine goes, 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander has a trick up its proverbial hood yet, as there is no telling what kind of powertrain will find its way out there.
Will it be similar to the old hybrid version with a 2.0 L engine in combination with a couple of electric motors? The old one was capable of good traction on all four wheels, but the exact specs are unknown. More on that as they are revealed. There are also rumors about the ability to cycle between different drive modes, and that the Outlander will do so automatically, based on its own, internal systems.
