2024 Mazda CX-9 Review, Release Date, Price – The 2024 Mazda CX-9, one of the most popular SUVs on the marketplace, is receiving some upgrades. This new model features a larger screen and the most recent version of Mazda Connect infotainment software.
Carbon Edition, which has unique styling and premium features, was also revealed recently. This model is available in the Touring or Grand Touring trims. It features a Polymetal Gray exterior and gloss black trim for grille and mirrors. The 2024 Mazda CX-9 is also a lot more attractive than the previous model.

Exterior And Interior Design
Some design improvements are evident on the 2024 Mazda CX-9. The new CX-9 looks better than ever thanks to the Kodo design language, which is also available on CX-5 models. It features unique LED headlights that have auto-leveling and LED taillights. Daytime running lights are also included. Mazda used a stylish 18-inch gray metallic-finish aluminum-alloy wheels and a body-colored rear spoiler.
The Carbon Edition model has been introduced. It sits between Touring Premium Package and touring. This model is exclusive to Polymetal Gray exterior paint and gloss black door mirrors and front grille. It also comes with 20-inch black metallic alloy wheels.
The new 2024 Mazda CX-9 has many updates, as we have already mentioned. The three-row SUV can also accommodate seven people in its spacious cabin. The rear bench, as with many three-row models, is perfect for small children. The latest news is that the CX-9 will receive many premium features as standard. A 10.25-inch center display featuring the Mazda Connect infotainment interface is new for 2024. This infotainment works with Android AutoTM and Apple CarPlayTM. Additional standard features include heated front chairs, leather-wrapped steering wheels, three-zone automatic temperature control, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio pairing, Bluetooth hands-free phone, rearview camera, keyless access, and push-button starting. Carbon Edition features red leather chairs with black metallic internal trim on the door panels and handles.
Mazda’s suite i-Activsense safety features includes a wider range of equipment. CX-9 will include Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Departure Warning With Lane-Keep Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alarm.
2024 Mazda CX-9 Engine
The 2024 Mazda CX-9 is powered by the same engine as the current model. The 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G turbocharged Skyactiv engine powers this model. The output of this engine will vary depending on the fuel used. This engine will produce 250 horsepower and 320 lbft of torque if it is loaded with premium fuel. Horsepower will fall to 227 horsepower and 311 lb-ft if the engine is run on regular 87-octane.
The 6-speed automatic transmission transmits power to the front wheels (FWD), just like the current model. Optional all-wheel drive (AWD) is available and can be used on any terrain. Although towing is not ideal, it is acceptable. The SUV can tow 3,500 pounds. It is however unable to carry a Honda Pilot’s 5,000-pound load. Dodge Durango is also in this class and can deliver 7,400 pounds with its V8 engine.

There will be many improvements to the 2024 Mazda CX-9. The SUV features a larger screen and new techs. The manufacturer also recently introduced the Carbon Edition, which looks amazing. Mazda’s three-row SUV with stylish lines will be available in showrooms this year. The base Sport trim starts at $33,960.
